Contest? Shenanigans? Yesh.

One segment of the first 'TipCast' is going to be a recounting of all the crazy stuff that tipsters have done at their tip campus. We'll have the best stories read on the air, either by their authors or by one of us 'anchors'. All tipsters of all ages and from all campuses can send in their stories. If you want to be anonymous(for those of you who may have broken the law), go for it. We know some of you guys who took creative writing might have an edge up on those of us who took, say, programming, so we'll try to judge based on the actual event that occured and not the delicious English with which it is served to us. Granted, if you say "I done stole my roomate's brush and he was all like, RAWR!", we might not give that story serious consideration.

On another note, anyone with a decent mic(rophone) and a good voice AND the desire to try out an 'anchor' role should show their enthusiasm by letting me know.

The obligatory first content post.

So, in order to exclude everyone who wasn't at Duke West, term II, 2009, the first post will be none other than the epic rave song. It has been forever immortalized beyond the mere second hit on youtube when you search "trance techno". It has become part of who we are as a term, and will stay with us for the remainder of our natural lives. And when we end up at the pearly gates of heaven, God will be all "What the f*** is that noise? Damn kids!" But we won't care. We're tipsters. Hooah!

So it begins

I think we'll be using this blogspot location for a while, and we'll change it to a forum or a more *cough* respectable *cough* blogging website then.
So, first order of business:
If you've not checked out http://www.tipwiki.net/ yet, do so. It's a treasure trove of TIPly win.

Also, the main point of this is to get some sort of podcast going where we can have an entertaining, informative, and basically awesome show - made by tipsters, for tipsters. Any ideas, suggestions, (free web hosting), etc, please let me know.

Right now, the only way to really put anything on this page is through my account, not a big fan of that; it discourages any sort of community. If you've got videos, pictures, anything that can be uploaded to this blog, tell me. I'll upload them here and it'll be a bright and happy little blog. Oh yes.
